Kelly Caballero is a California born and raised Actress, Singer- Songwriter and Poet. She was most recently featured on KCET Borderlands: Lost LA and was a feature for Womens March Los Angeles. She began her acting career on stage as lead Della Barrios in the city of Santa Ana’s production of Zoot Suit. From there she went on to work on various shorts and independent films such as Award Winning film, Midnights With Adam.
Kelly hails from the Gabrielino- Tongva nation, Los Angeles' first people, and is also of Yaqui and Spanish decent. Her perspective and art as an indigenous person raised in an urban environment has lead her to speak at many universities across the state, at public forums and events. She is a published poet, featured in the Altadena Poetry Review and Yaamay Anthology, a collection of poems written by indigenous voices. Kelly Caballero also shares her original music throughout California and most recently took the Arygros Stage at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Kelly is a community activist, artist and educator rooted in the preservation of sacred sights and cultural representation. She will always use acting music and poetry as a means to create, unite, inspire and heal.
